Palermo's Auto Works

Palermo's Auto Works has operated on Scottsville Road for 40 years, starting as auto detailing and body work done out of a single-car garage by a dedicated automotive painter before growing into the current Chili/Genesee-Junction-area shop. Current owner William Melnikov took over the business in 2024 after working as an auto body technician at the shop for nearly a decade — a continuity transition that preserves the existing technician relationships and process knowledge.

The service mix combines collision repair with detailing and ceramic coating, which is useful for customers who want both done in one drop-off. The Scottsville Road location pulls Chili, Gates, and southwest-Rochester customers as well as drivers along the Route 383 corridor.
